Calgary, AB (May 12, 2016) – Vegetation managers have a new option to control toadflax and leafy spurge on industrial sites, railways, roadsides and rights-of-way. The two new weeds have been added to the Aspect™ herbicide label with the approval of the Pest Management Regulatory Agency.
Aspect herbicide was developed by Dow AgroSciences, a leader in vegetation management solutions in Canada. “Toadflax and leafy spurge are strong competitors that can be difficult to control. Having an effective tool to help prevent their spread will benefit vegetation management programs across Western Canada,” says Carmen Holding, Specialties Product Manager with Dow AgroSciences.
Aspect is a new formulation that delivers the same trusted, proven performance as Tordon™ 101. It’s the new industry standard professional vegetation managers count on for controlling trees and weeds. It provides excellent selectivity and safety to grasses on rights-of-way and roadsides where grass health is critical to program success.
“Dow AgroSciences will continue to work to improve our product formulations, add more weeds to our product labels, and make ongoing improvements that support user convenience,” says Holding.
